David did an hour-long podcast this morning for the Leadership Coach Academy for their members. Listen as David describes GTD, Making It All Work, and his approach to “elegant lazyness!”
The other day, I had a group of IT savvy people in the room talking about Getting Things Done. We did a follow-up on a training I did with them a month earlier. "Moving on to part four in my five-part series on the best and worst practices of GTD: Mastering Workflow. Next up is the glue, the elixir, the special sauce of GTD--the Weekly Review stage. Cheers. Literally, cheers. When I speak at companies like Cisco and implore employees to find email alternatives, they erupt. That's how much corporate America hates email. I'm not surprised. We're drowning in it. The average worker receives 200 a day, according to the research firm Basex. Isn't it annoying? You just can't go faster even if it is so exciting, like you're reading the latest Dan Brown yarn or something and just want to know what's on the next page the whole time.

In those early years, you learned how to read, but you where never taught later in life how to enhance these skills and to read with efficiency - to differentiate between texts depending on purpose - what do I need to know… Continue
